Artisan Locksmith – Talent Pooling

About the role

The Artisan Locksmith will provide on‑site locksmith services on an as‑required basis, supporting the installation, repair and maintenance of locks and related security hardware. Working within a talent‑pooling model, the role assists internal teams during peak periods and ensures compliance with safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain a variety of locks and security hardware.
• Cut keys, re‑key locks and perform lock picking as needed.
• Maintain and organise locksmith tools and key inventory.
• Complete accurate work documentation for each task.
• Follow all security protocols, ISO standards and company policies.
• Support team members during high‑demand periods.
• Report health, safety, environmental and food‑safety hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• Trade certification in locksmithing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Required skills

• Use of lock‑picking tools.
• Operation of key‑cutting machines.
• Knowledge of lock mechanisms, key systems and security hardware.
