Cleaner / Laundry Technician

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner/Laundry Technician to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our accommodation facilities. The role involves both housekeeping duties and the operation of industrial laundry equipment, ensuring guests enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean accommodation rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, following established sanitation procedures.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces in line with ISO and HACCP guidelines.
• Collect and segregate waste, ensuring proper disposal.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing units safely and efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and pack linen and uniforms, inspecting for defects.
• Monitor and report linen and cleaning‑material inventory levels.
• Apply correct amounts of detergents and chemicals according to safety standards.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial cleaning or laundry operations.
• Physically fit; able to lift up to 25 kg without assistance.
• Basic English language skills; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in remote site locations.

Required skills

• Operation of vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Use of industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing units.
• Basic health‑and‑safety knowledge and HACCP awareness.
