Fleet Management Officer – Truck Fleet

About the role

The Fleet Management Officer supports the Fleet and Garage Manager in Port‑au‑Prince, overseeing the operation and maintenance of WFP’s truck fleet across Haiti. The role ensures that vehicles and related equipment are managed efficiently, safely and in compliance with WFP policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily fleet operations and garage activities.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs and inspections.
• Control and track all fleet equipment and materials in each unit.
• Coordinate fleet activities with other WFP units to ensure timely availability of transport resources.
• Ensure compliance with WFP standard operating procedures, normative guidelines and safety regulations.
• Prepare and update reports on fleet performance, utilization and costs.
• Support inventory management of spare parts and consumables.

Required profile

• Haitian national (the position is open only to Haitian citizens).
• Relevant experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance or logistics.
• Good knowledge of WFP or UN logistics procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, high‑pressure humanitarian environment.
