Artisan Welder – Fabrication & Structural Repairs

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Artisan Welder to perform welding and metal fabrication tasks across a range of projects, including piping, railings, and structural repairs. The role supports other trades and ensures all metal work meets safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding for fabrication, cutting, and structural applications.
• Repair and fabricate piping systems and pipe supports.
• Construct, repair, and maintain railings, handrails, safety barriers, and metal doors.
• Carry out structural repairs on equipment, gates, fences, and facilities.
• Fabricate and install metal frames, supports, and security grilles.
• Maintain welding equipment, handle gas cylinders safely, and apply corrosion protection treatments.
• Support other trades with metal fabrication needs.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards and follow ISO standards.

Required profile

• Trade certification in welding.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant welding experience.
• Basic English; French or Creole is a plus.
• Hot‑work permit training and strict adherence to PPE requirements.
• Willingness to attend daily safety briefings.
