Budget Officer

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dynamic Budget Officer to join the Operations team. Reporting to the Deputy Representative Operations, the role supports effective financial resource management, budget planning, and donor reporting to ensure the organization delivers results for children across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Support the formulation of budgeting strategies and concepts.
• Conduct budget analysis and contribute to result‑oriented financial planning.
• Manage contribution allocation, monitoring, and financial dashboard reporting.
• Prepare financial reports for resource mobilisation and donor reporting.
• Provide VISION support for fund management, cost distribution and payroll.

Required profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience in budget planning, financial monitoring and donor reporting.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with country, regional and headquarters teams.
