Commercial Executive – Consumer Sales

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Commercial Executive for its Consumer Sales department. The post is based in the Centre (Belladère-Lascahobas) area and reports to the Operations Manager. Its main purpose is to manage all commercial and marketing activity in the assigned cluster area so that sales targets are met and Digicel's products and services are marketed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial performance across assigned clusters and develop new routes to market, including the local kiosk channel.
• Acquire new prepaid and postpaid customers and achieve monthly targets for gross and net activations and recharge sales.
• Monitor recharge performance, stock availability and wholesale recharge points of sale using the Real Impact tool, and expand the distribution network of wholesale POS and street vendors.
• Analyze cluster performance, identify local market challenges and escalate issues needing corrective action.
• Monitor competitors' activities, market trends and customer behaviour, and implement the company's national recharge strategy locally.
• Strengthen relationships with local communities and support market research, branding, public relations, events and engagement with the local business community.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing or commercial operations, preferably in telecommunications or a multinational company.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally as required.

Required skills

• Negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills, and strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good financial and accounting knowledge and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
