Distribution Supervisor

About the role

The Distribution Supervisor will lead the execution of our delivery process, ensuring service levels are met while driving profitability through efficient delivery modes. You will work closely with trade partners, drivers and internal teams to maintain high quality standards and manage capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Coach trade partners on MBFU, refusals and out‑of‑date deliveries to improve productivity.
• Verify master data accuracy and conduct in‑trade driver verification.
• Maintain a minimum of four market visits per week, following SOPs and OWDs.
• Oversee quality management, track customer complaints, and implement action plans.
• Train drivers on quality issues and proper handling procedures.
• Manage capacity occupation, establish daily SLA with 2DCP, and develop communication channels for refusals.
• Ensure return policies are up‑to‑date and adhered to.
• Collaborate with CXC to track performance and promote cross‑functional learning.

Required profile

• Relevant 3‑year tertiary degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer‑service role within FMCG.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
• Strong reliability, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication, self‑management and planning abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
