Human Resources Analyst (UNDP/UNCDF/UNV)

About the role

The Human Resources Analyst supports the Country Office by interpreting and applying HR policies, rules, and regulations. Working under the guidance of senior management, the analyst ensures effective delivery of HR services, promotes a collaborative approach, and helps maintain high staff morale.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HR strategies and policies in line with UN rules and UNDP procedures.
• Ensure full compliance of HR activities with internal controls and UN regulations.
• Analyse HR parameters and support the design and functioning of the HR management system.
• Provide solutions to a wide range of HR issues and advise staff.
• Collaborate with programme, operations, and project teams, as well as UNDP HQ and other UN agencies.
• Potentially supervise and lead support staff within the HR unit.

Required profile

• Under overall guidance and supervision of senior HR or operations managers.
• Ability to interpret and apply HR policies and regulations.
• Client‑oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills.
• Capacity to contribute to staff morale and a high‑performing workplace.
