Inventory Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Analyst to manage finished‑goods inventory within our logistics supply chain. The role ensures that all physical movements are accurately reflected in SAP, that inventory quality standards are met, and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain finished‑goods quality standards in line with DPO and VPO requirements.
• Block and unblock inventory in SAP using physical mechanisms for quality‑related and obsolete stock.
• Conduct independent inventory counts for returnable containers and reconcile results with SAP.
• Investigate, resolve and report inventory count differences; escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Process breakages, obsolescence, salvages and shipment documentation accurately in SAP.
• Review and settle open shipments, container claims and driver route corrections.
• Monitor budget versus actual costs and develop action plans for gaps.
• Ensure all inventory documentation is signed, filed and stored according to policy, and perform random security checks.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to follow strict governance and risk procedures.
• Experience with inventory control processes in a logistics environment.
