MEAL Manager – Humanitarian & Climate Projects

About the role

The MEAL Manager will design and develop monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems aligned with Acted’s global procedures, ensuring that humanitarian and development projects deliver intended results.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate MEAL activities across programmes.
• Manage the MEAL department and lead the team.
• Provide capacity‑building and training for staff and partners.
• Develop and improve MEAL processes and tools.
• Capture and capitalize lessons learned.
• Implement the beneficiary complaint response mechanism.

Required profile

• University degree in Political Sciences, Public Administration, International Affairs, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development organisations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with international, national staff and rural communities.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage a team.
• Flexibility, adaptability and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral English.
• Regional knowledge is an asset.

• Salary based on education level and security context, plus a monthly living allowance of $300.
