Budget Officer – Fixed Term (NO-2) – Port-au-Prince

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dynamic and analytical Budget Officer to join the Operations team. Reporting to the Deputy Representative Operations, you will support the planning, monitoring and reporting of financial resources across programmes and operations, helping to strengthen financial governance in a complex humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in formulating budgeting strategies and concepts aligned with UNICEF’s objectives.
• Conduct budget analysis to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and results‑focused.
• Manage contribution processes, including allocation, monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain financial dashboard reports for internal and donor audiences.
• Support the preparation of financial reports related to resource mobilisation and donor reporting.
• Provide vision support for fund management, cost distribution and payroll oversight.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial management, budgeting or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with country, regional and headquarters teams.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s mission and the humanitarian context of Haiti.
