Business Development Manager - Prospecton Depot

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for SAB's Premium Brands within the Prospecton Depot channel. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal brand teams, ensuring exceptional service and delivering tailored business programs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong point‑of‑contact relationships, collaborating with brand, trade marketing and other SAB teams.
• Manage customer expectations, ensuring timely fulfillment of needs.
• Design and implement customer‑specific business programs and account plans.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Premium Brands.
• Educate and train customers on correct in‑store positioning and execution of SAB’s Premium category.
• Support the Premium Co. Team in driving market share, meeting financial targets and growth objectives for key on‑premises outlets.
• Assist in creating comprehensive brand plans for the Premium category.
• Provide insights on the Super Premium Alcohol category to align strategy with consumer needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑year tertiary qualification.
• 3‑5 years sales experience in FMCG.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with solid commercial acumen.
• Extensive knowledge of SAB’s Premium category.
• Attention to detail, professionalism and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours.
