About the role

The Camp Administrator & Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, staff and client representatives. You will ensure smooth front‑desk operations, maintain accurate administrative records and support day‑to‑day camp coordination.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, staff and clients, managing reception and front‑desk duties professionally.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications – phone calls, emails, radio messages and visitor logs.
  • Maintain records of staff movements, visitor access, accommodation occupancy and meeting‑room usage.
  • Provide general administrative support: filing, document control, data entry, typing, photocopying and routine correspondence.
  • Coordinate with security, logistics and camp services to facilitate visitor access, meeting arrangements and accommodation requests.
  • Update administrative registers, logs and trackers to meet contractual and client requirements.
  • Assist the Camp Manager in preparing reports, attendance records and other documentation.
  • Monitor office supplies, prepare requisitions and ensure a tidy reception area.
  • Report health, safety, environmental and food‑safety hazards and follow ISO standards.

Required profile

  • High School Certificate with additional administrative or secretarial training.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in administration or reception within a similar operational environment.
  • Strong confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as telephone systems, printers and photocopiers.
  • Basic data‑entry and record‑management capabilities.
