Chief of Service – Service Delivery

About the role

The United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) is seeking a senior leader to head its Service Delivery pillar. Reporting to senior mission management, the Chief of Service, Service Delivery will oversee logistics, technical and operational support for UN missions, the Gang Suppression Force, Haitian National Police, and other partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide managerial and supervisory control over all logistics, technical and operational support services within the Service Delivery pillar.
• Coordinate demand planning, forecasting and timely processing of goods and services across UN Headquarters, mission components and external partners.
• Act as the primary liaison between the mission, the Regional Service Centre and UN Headquarters to ensure efficient day‑to‑day support.
• Develop and implement the service delivery work plan, set priorities and monitor key performance indicators.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for civilian, military and police deployments, incorporating gender‑specific needs.
• Serve as hiring manager, workforce planner and first reporting officer for the pillar’s staff.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in managing large‑scale logistics and support operations, preferably in an international or UN context.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple UN and non‑UN entities.
• Strong understanding of UN policies, regulations and supply‑chain procedures.
• Excellent planning, analytical and decision‑making skills.
