Contract Commercial Manager

About the role

GI EXPERTISE is seeking a Contract Commercial Manager to support a leading telecommunications player in West Africa. The role will oversee the full commercial lifecycle, from bidding to contract execution, ensuring that all agreements align with company policies and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor internal commercial processes, supporting review and approval during bidding, signing, and contract modifications.
• Prepare, analyse, and review commercial agreements such as contracts, NDAs, and MOUs, providing redline comments.
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers, developing strategies to secure favourable pricing, scope, deliverables, timelines, and risk allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, legal, financial, and operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Project Management, and Procurement teams to guarantee contractual feasibility and proper implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Law, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience with Huawei or within a Chinese company is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English (reading and speaking) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of commercial contract law principles and standard contractual clauses.
