Deputy Agriprograms Manager – Northern Region, Haiti

About the role

The Deputy Agriprograms Manager will oversee all Acceso agricultural program operations in Haiti’s Northern Region, providing leadership for field implementation, staff supervision, project management, data quality, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Agriprograms Director and Associate Director in designing new programs, budgets, operational plans and outcome estimates.
• Supervise Zone Managers and field staff, conduct performance reviews, coaching and capacity‑building.
• Maintain project work plans, oversee satellite nurseries, seed distribution and farmer training.
• Monitor project budgets, produce performance dashboards and status reports, and support proposal development.
• Oversee data system deployment, ensure data quality, analyze KPIs and contribute to monitoring and evaluation plans.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, economics or related field.
• At least five years of experience, with three years managing agricultural development programs, preferably in Haiti.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to travel to remote locations and work directly with farmer groups and stakeholders.
• Fluency in French, Haitian Creole and English; Spanish is a plus.
