Director of Programs – Humanitarian Leadership

About the role

World Relief is seeking a Director of Programs to provide strategic leadership for its Haiti Country Office. Working closely with the Country Director, the DoP will guide program design, implementation, and evaluation across multiple sectors, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead needs assessments and develop sectoral engagement proposals that reflect donor priorities and technical capacity.
• Contribute to the development and rollout of the Country Office strategy.
• Oversee program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to meet strategic and donor requirements.
• Ensure robust MEAL systems are in place to demonstrate impact and promote learning.
• Support proposal development and produce high‑quality project reports.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth field operations.
• Represent World Relief externally with donors, government ministries, and partner NGOs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior program management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior leadership decisions.
• Excellent networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑sector programs and lead cross‑functional teams.
