MEAL Manager – Various Locations

About the role

Acted is seeking a MEAL Manager to design and implement monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems across its humanitarian and development programmes. The role ensures projects perform as planned while integrating climate and environmental considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEAL activities and ensure alignment with Acted’s global procedures.
• Lead and manage the MEAL department and its team.
• Develop capacity‑building programmes and training for staff.
• Design and implement process improvements and the beneficiary complaint response mechanism.

Required profile

• University degree in Political Science, Public Administration, International Affairs, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics or related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development organisations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with both international and national staff.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage a team.
• Flexibility, adaptability and capacity to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of the region is an asset.
• Familiarity with basic Office software and Kobo Toolbox.

• Salary adjusted to education level and security context, plus a monthly living allowance of $300.
