Fork Lift Operator

About the role

CTG (Committed To Good) is seeking an experienced Fork Lift Operator to join its warehouse team in Haiti. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving, stacking, and storing goods using a forklift in a busy logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to unload deliveries, stack boxes, and move wooden pallets.
• Maneuver forklifts safely in busy warehouse areas.
• Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Transport goods from storage to loading zones for dispatch.
• Ensure forklift operating areas are free from spills or obstructions.
• Inspect forklift equipment for faults before use and report any breakdowns promptly.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate records.
• Ensure only authorized personnel operate the forklift and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of safe forklift operation experience in a warehouse.
• Valid forklift operator license, evaluated by the client.
• At least five years of progressive experience in forklift operation.
• National identity card and a valid driving license for forklift operation.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow warehouse safety requirements.
• Fluent in spoken and written French.
