Project Manager (Consultancy) – Haiti

About the role

ARKARK is seeking a Project Manager to lead the LUPUS project in Haiti on a consultancy basis. The role involves overseeing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and delivery to ensure objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Haiti project, reporting to the Operations Director and CEO.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and manage relationships with local partners, donors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance, support forecasting, reporting, and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with the Canadian Government’s Global Affairs Canada and other key partners such as the Haitian National Police, RCMP, and UNOPS.
• Track and respond to the security situation in Port‑au‑Prince, adapting project plans as needed.
• Offer mentoring support to the Haitian National Police Polygraph Unit when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects in challenging environments.
• Strong ability to engage with donors, government agencies, and international partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Capacity to work under security constraints and adapt strategies quickly.
