Senior Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) Coordinator (P)

About the role

The Senior Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) Coordinator will support Haiti’s Government and UN partners in implementing a comprehensive DDR and Community Violence Reduction framework. The position is based within the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and contributes to the UN Inter‑Agency Working Group on DDR.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Government of Haiti and UN agencies in the design, coordination and monitoring of DDR and Community Violence Reduction activities.
• Co‑lead the United Nations Inter‑Agency Working Group on Disarmament, Dismantling, and Reintegration.
• Collaborate with governmental, intergovernmental and non‑governmental partners to ensure coherent implementation of the DDR framework.

Required profile

• Professional grade P‑4 (senior level) position.
• Relevant experience in disarmament, demobilization, reintegration, or related security and humanitarian programmes.
