Supply Chain Associate – IOM Haiti

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Haiti is looking for a Supply Chain Associate to support the day‑to‑day procurement activities of the office. The role ensures that all purchases comply with IOM regulations, that goods and services are delivered on time, and that proper documentation is maintained throughout the procurement cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and consolidate procurement requisition forms in line with the Purchase Authorization Matrix.
• Assist supervisors with processing higher‑value purchases and prepare tender documents, solicit bids, and conduct bid analysis.
• Confirm terms with selected suppliers, issue purchase orders or contracts, and coordinate required authorizations.
• Monitor open requisitions, follow up on deliveries, and coordinate receipt documentation with the receiving unit.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with Finance for timely payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records and generate periodic reports.
• Support market surveys, evaluate potential new suppliers, and track contractual agreements for renewal.
• Coordinate fleet operations, vehicle scheduling, logbook monitoring, and maintenance.
• Provide guidance on procurement procedures to staff and train junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain management is desirable.
• Familiarity with IOM procurement regulations and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under supervision.
