Warehouse Operations Officer – Port-au-Prince

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Warehouse Operations Officer to support its supply‑chain activities in Port‑au‑Prince, Haiti. The officer will work under the supervision of a senior logistics officer and will be responsible for ensuring that warehouse operations run efficiently, securely and in line with humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and report logistics data to improve warehouse performance.
• Maintain optimal storage conditions, monitor stock levels and minimise losses.
• Coordinate timely receipt, storage and dispatch of food and non‑food items.
• Support inventory control processes and conduct regular physical counts.
• Collaborate closely with senior logistics staff and other supply‑chain functions.

Required profile

• Haitian national (female candidates strongly encouraged).
• Experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow guidance from senior staff.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to commit to a 12‑month renewable contract.
