About the role
The Associate Fuel Officer will support the United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) by assisting in fuel management and related operations. Based in Port-au-Prince, the role reports to the Fuel Officer, Life Support Section, and contributes to the UN’s mandate to support the Gang Suppression Force, the Integrated Office, Haitian National Police, Haitian Armed Forces, and the Organization of American States.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in day‑to‑day fuel management activities.
- Support fuel operations, including storage, distribution, and tracking.
- Participate in fraud prevention measures related to fuel handling.
- Conduct quality control checks on fuel supplies.
- Verify invoices and ensure accurate financial documentation.
