Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (National Fixed‑term)

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a National Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to join its Research, Assessment and Monitoring unit in Port‑au‑Prince. The officer will support the design, implementation and reporting of monitoring, review and evaluation activities that generate evidence on programme impact and inform strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Monitoring, Review and Evaluation Plans in line with WFP corporate standards.
• Coordinate field monitoring activities and ensure timely data collection and quality assurance.
• Manage or support decentralized evaluations, including planning, contracting and oversight.
• Assist in thematic and mid‑term reviews, preparing analytical reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with government partners and other stakeholders to position WFP as a reliable monitoring partner.

Required profile

• Haitian national; female candidates strongly encouraged.
• Relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and adhere to WFP values.
