Skilled Painter – Interior & Exterior Coatings

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Artisan Painter to join our talent pool and carry out interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and coating projects across various facilities. The role involves working on offices, living spaces, equipment rooms, storage areas, and structural elements such as concrete, metal, signs, pipes, and utility poles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interior painting of offices, living accommodations, equipment rooms, and storage facilities.
• Execute exterior painting of building surfaces, walls, and structural elements.
• Apply structural and corrosion‑control coatings to concrete, metal, signs, pipes, and utility poles.
• Prepare surfaces using brushing, chipping, mechanical or chemical methods.
• Apply paints and finishes with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors according to RAL codes and specifications.
• Carry out scheduled annual wall painting and bi‑annual ceiling painting.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards and near‑miss incidents.
• Follow ISO standards and attend daily safety briefings.

Required profile

• Trade certification or minimum 3 years of painting experience.
• Basic English; French/Creole is an advantage.
• Physical fitness and ability to wear required PPE (high‑visibility gear, safety boots, helmet, mask, goggles, hearing protectors, gloves).
• Commitment to safety procedures and regular briefings.

Required skills

• Use of spray equipment, brushes, rollers, and surface‑preparation tools.
• Surface preparation techniques (brushing, chipping, mechanical, chemical).
• Application of interior, exterior, and structural coatings.
• Corrosion‑control and weather‑resistant coating application.
• Color matching using RAL codes.
