Country Representative – Haiti

About the role

The Country Representative will lead the joint LWF/NCA Office and Country Program in Haiti, providing strategic direction, management and external representation to deliver humanitarian and development results for vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the LWF/NCA Haiti Country Strategy and operational plan.
• Lead a multi‑disciplinary team and act as host for four international organizations based in the joint office.
• Monitor and analyse political, security and humanitarian contexts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with local NGOs, civil society and donors, and secure new funding.
• Ensure robust financial management, compliance, risk mitigation and reporting.
• Represent LWF and NCA in coordination mechanisms, advocacy forums and public engagements.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field with strong expertise in human rights, gender justice, disaster risk reduction, climate, economic development or related areas.
• Significant senior‑level experience managing humanitarian or development programmes in complex environments.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, build partnerships and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and communication skills.
