Account Manager – Fintech & Cryptocurrency (Remote)

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a proactive Account Manager to serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of fintech and cryptocurrency clients. Working remotely, you will own day‑to‑day communication, drive retention and identify growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, handling phone, email, chat and meetings.
• Build long‑term relationships by understanding client goals, pain points and delivering value.
• Conduct regular check‑ins, account reviews and performance updates.
• Manage the full retention cycle, including churn risk mitigation and end‑to‑end contract renewals.
• Coordinate renegotiations with Legal, Finance, Compliance and Sales leadership.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Operations, Support, Product, Compliance and Engineering to ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, maintaining an active expansion pipeline.
• Maintain accurate account records, communication logs and pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success or a similar B2B client‑facing role.
• Proven ability to own contract renewals and retain a book of business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for documentation and pipeline management.
