Advocacy and Communications Officer (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is seeking a results‑driven Advocacy and Communications Officer to develop and implement integrated advocacy and communication strategies that influence policy, strengthen commitments for children, and raise awareness of children’s rights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement advocacy and communication strategies, including media relations and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate advocacy and communication activities, ensuring measurable results.
• Provide project and budget support, and build capacity for advocacy and communication within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Political Science, Communications, International Relations or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in advocacy, communications or campaigning at national, regional or global level.
• Experience in digital communications, managing online platforms and channels.
• Proficiency in French and intermediate English; knowledge of Creole is an asset.
