Director of Programs, Haiti

About the role

World Relief is seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to serve as Director of Programs in Haiti. Working closely with the Country Director, you will provide strategic direction for a portfolio of humanitarian programs, represent the organization externally, and help shape the country office’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead needs assessments and develop sector‑specific engagement proposals aligned with donor priorities and organizational capacity.
• Contribute to the creation, rollout, and continuous improvement of the Haiti Country Office strategy.
• Oversee the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all program activities.
• Manage program staff, ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to policies.
• Represent World Relief with donors, government agencies, INGOs, and local partners.
• Collaborate with internal support functions such as Finance, HR, Logistics, and Procurement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable and marginalized populations.
• Strong leadership experience in humanitarian or development programming.
• Proven ability to work in partnership with churches, NGOs, and government entities.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
