Finance Officer – FM (Talent Pooling)

About the role

The Finance Officer – FM (Talent Pooling) will provide financial and accounting support for the FM, Minor Engineering, and HVAC Works projects from the Head Office. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and ISO requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Manage accounts receivable, tracking client payments according to contract terms.
• Prepare payment vouchers, coordinate with banks, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Produce monthly financial reports and budget variance analyses.
• Handle expense claims, petty‑cash reconciliations, and support payroll coordination with HR.
• Assist with tax declarations, statutory filings, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Fluent English; French preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIMA, CA, ACCA or CPA are advantageous.
• Based at the Head Office (GFAC/Corporate).

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software and invoice management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and Haitian tax regulations.
