Leasing Consultant – Monterra Place

About the role

The Leasing Consultant will support property operations at Monterra Place, acting as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents. This role involves supervising daily leasing activities, managing resident records, and ensuring a smooth rental experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage property operations in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Advise new residents on lease requirements and responsibilities.
• Conduct applicant background checks and recommend approvals or rejections.
• Interview prospective residents, show available units, and explain dwelling equipment.
• Lease vacant units to approved applicants and manage waiting lists.
• Maintain lease, accounting, and delinquency records; process rent collections and bank deposits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly vacancy and delinquency reports.
• Coordinate work orders, monitor contractors, and conduct quality‑assurance inspections.
• Inspect apartments and grounds for maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies during and outside of working hours.

Required profile

• Experience supervising or administering property operations.
• Familiarity with lease administration, rent collection, and resident record keeping.
• Ability to conduct background checks and evaluate applicant eligibility.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories, and reporting.
• Capability to respond to resident inquiries and emergencies promptly.
