Programme Associate – WASH (G‑6) – Fixed‑Term – Port‑au‑Prince

About the role

Under the supervision of the Chief WASH, the Programme Associate provides specialised programme and administrative support to develop, implement and monitor UNICEF's WASH programmes in Haiti. The role involves data analysis, budget tracking, reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organisational rules.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation and monitoring of WASH projects.
• Manage programme data, conduct analysis and produce regular reports.
• Track budgets, prepare financial summaries and ensure accurate grant management.
• Coordinate with partners, government agencies and UNICEF units.
• Contribute to digital innovation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Assist in capacity‑building activities, event coordination and surge support.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and dissemination of best practices.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant administrative or clerical experience, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
