Tactical Instructor

About the role

The Tactical Instructor delivers classroom, range, and field training for urban tactical operations. Working under the Training Manager, the instructor supports senior staff to ensure safe, disciplined, and effective instruction for HNP recruits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction on weapons handling, movement techniques, patrol procedures, room clearing, checkpoint and convoy operations, and scenario‑based exercises.
• Prepare and reset classrooms, ranges, training lanes, equipment, targets, and instructional materials daily.
• Demonstrate tactical techniques, supervise student practice, and enforce safety controls and lesson plans.
• Track student participation, performance, and safety compliance, providing feedback to senior instructors.
• Assist with range setup, target changes, lane control, and equipment accountability.
• Coordinate with language assistants and co‑instructors to ensure clear communication.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of military, law‑enforcement, corrections, or related tactical experience.
• Experience in urban tactics, firearms, patrol procedures, or tactical instruction preferred.
• Prior instructor or assistant instructor experience is a plus.
• Overseas or host‑nation training experience is advantageous.
