Plumbing Technician – FM (Talent Pooling)

About the role

The Plumbing Technician – FM (Talent Pooling) is responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and quality assessments of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems. The role ensures that all plumbing components meet safety, health, and ISO standards while supporting corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect water supply piping, connections, meters, and related fixtures.
• Examine drainage, wastewater, and septic system connections, including grease traps.
• Verify functionality of sanitary fixtures such as toilets, washbasins, and showers.
• Test water heaters, hot‑water systems, ball cocks, faucets, valves, and other control devices.
• Conduct leak detection inspections on supply and drainage networks.
• Quantify material requirements for repair and upgrade projects.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards and near‑miss incidents.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Plumbing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing inspection.
• Fluency in English; French or Creole is an advantage.
• Ability to wear required PPE and attend daily safety briefings.

Required skills

• Use of pressure gauges for system testing.
• Operation of leak detectors for identifying water losses.
• Video inspection techniques for pipe assessment.
