Team Coordinator – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Team Coordinator will lead the Checker Team to ensure that all maintenance inspections are performed on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with safety and ISO requirements across multiple specialty trades.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily inspections, quality assessments, and verification of maintenance work.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders, balancing urgency and resource availability.
• Supervise Checker Team technicians, conduct QA checks, and prepare progress reports.
• Collaborate with the Site Supervisor on resource allocation, overtime, and leave management.
• Monitor spare‑parts usage, liaise with the warehouse, and report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards.
• Implement performance management by setting KPIs, conducting reviews, and providing on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in inspection or coordination roles.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to wear required PPE and attend daily safety briefings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS and inspection software.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Experience using quality‑control tools.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance planning, task order management, and specialty trades (carpentry, masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, painting).
