Commercial Executive – Cluster Sales

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Commercial Executive for its Consumer Sales department. The role manages all commercial and marketing activity within an assigned cluster area, reports to the Operations Manager and aims to meet sales targets while marketing Digicel's products and services effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial performance across assigned clusters and develop new routes to market, including the local kiosk channel.
• Acquire new prepaid and postpaid customers and achieve monthly targets for gross and net activations and recharge sales.
• Monitor recharge performance, stock availability and wholesale recharge points of sale using the Real Impact tool, and analyze cluster performance and market challenges.
• Expand the distribution network by adding wholesale recharge POS and street vendors to boost scratch card and electronic recharge sales.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer behaviour, implement the national recharge strategy locally, and strengthen community relationships with the General Manager.
• Support local market research, branding, public relations, events and engagement with the business community to increase local visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing or commercial operations, preferably in telecommunications or a multinational company.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally as required.

Required skills

• Negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills; strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good financial and accounting knowledge and analytical, problem-solving abilities.
