Education Specialist Cluster Coordinator (NO-3) – Temporary Appointment

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Education Specialist Cluster Coordinator (NO‑3) on a temporary appointment to lead the coordination of the Education Cluster in Port‑au‑Prince, Haiti. The role supports a strategic, evidence‑based education response during humanitarian emergencies, working closely with government, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate humanitarian education actors across Haiti to ensure coherent response.
• Develop sectoral plans, monitor cluster performance and report on progress.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government counterparts, UN agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building initiatives within the cluster.
• Provide technical support to education programmes to align with IASC core functions and humanitarian standards.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in education, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, international development, management, social sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in programme planning, coordination, management or research in education.
• Demonstrated experience working in humanitarian contexts.
• Fluency in French and intermediate proficiency in English.
